SHINE Group Programme

6-Month Online Group Programme: Build Lasting Habits With Community Support

Do you know that accountability and support make change easier?

Of course you do. But knowing something and experiencing it are two very different things.

You might be brilliant at motivating your team at work, supporting your family through challenges, or cheering on your friends’ successes. But when it comes to your own health? Somehow you’re expected to do it all alone.

Here’s what I’ve learned after years of coaching: the people who create lasting change aren’t the ones with the most willpower. They’re the ones with the right support system.

You’re Here Because…

You thrive on community and shared experiences. You know you need accountability to stay on track, and you’re comfortable sharing your journey with others (within sensible boundaries, of course).

Maybe you’ve done my SHINE Reflection and know exactly what you need to work on, but you want ongoing support to make it stick. Or perhaps you’ve tried going it alone before and found yourself back at square one when life got busy or stressful.

Sound familiar?

  • You do well for a few weeks, then gradually fall off track
  • You need someone (or several someones) checking in to keep you accountable
  • You don’t want to feel like you’re doing this health thing completely alone
  • You learn better when you can hear how others are tackling similar challenges
  • You want expert guidance but at a more accessible investment than 1:1 coaching

You’ve probably experienced:

  • Starting strong then losing momentum when the novelty wears off
  • Feeling motivated when you’re with like-minded people, but struggling when you’re on your own
  • Wondering if what you’re experiencing is “normal” and wishing you could ask someone
  • Having great intentions but lacking the structure and accountability to follow through

There’s something powerful about realising you’re not the only one who struggles with 3pm sugar crashes or weekend wine habits. When you hear someone else share your exact challenge, it stops feeling like a personal failing and starts feeling like a solvable problem.

Here’s what happens in a supportive group:

  • You normalise the challenges (you’re not broken, you’re human)
  • You learn from others’ strategies and wins
  • You feel accountable to people who genuinely care about your success
  • You celebrate progress together, making small wins feel significant
  • You develop skills for navigating setbacks without giving up completely

Plus, let’s be honest: it’s much harder to skip that evening walk when you know Sarah from the group is expecting to hear how it went on the next call.

Six weeks of structured support, expert guidance, and community accountability—all from the comfort of your own home.

Week 1: Foundations – Understanding Your Starting Point

We explore what sustainable change actually looks like and identify your personal barriers to consistency. You’ll meet your group and start building the support relationships that will carry you through.

Week 2: Sustainable Habits – Building Your Framework

Using science-backed habit formation principles, we design small, doable changes that fit your actual life (not your ideal life). You’ll learn how to stack habits and create environmental cues that support success.

Week 3: Individualised Approach – Making It Personal

Because one size never fits all. We dive into how your unique brain, body, and circumstances require specific strategies. This includes considerations for ADHD, hormonal changes, stress levels, and lifestyle constraints.

Week 4: Nurturing Yourself Through Change

Change is hard, even positive change. We focus on self-compassion, managing setbacks, and maintaining motivation when the initial excitement wears off.

Week 5: Empowerment – Becoming Your Own Expert

You’ll learn to trust your own judgment, interpret your body’s signals, and make informed decisions without needing external validation for every choice.

Week 6: Integration – Making It Stick Long-Term

We consolidate your learning, plan for ongoing success, and prepare you to maintain these changes independently after the programme ends.

6 x 90-Minute Group Coaching Calls

Live, interactive sessions via Zoom where we dive deep into each week’s topic. All calls are recorded in case you can’t attend live.

Private Online Community

A safe, supportive space to ask questions, share wins, troubleshoot challenges, and connect with your group between calls.

Weekly Action Guides

Practical resources and exercises to support each week’s focus area. No overwhelming information dumps—just what you need to take the next step.

Peer Support and Accountability

The magic ingredient that makes group coaching so effective. You’ll have genuine relationships with people who understand your journey.

You’re an ideal fit if:

  • You want shared experience and camaraderie in your health journey
  • You need gentle accountability to stay on track with your goals
  • You’re comfortable sharing your challenges and wins with others (within appropriate boundaries)
  • You learn well from hearing different perspectives and approaches
  • You’ve done some initial work (perhaps the SHINE Reflection) and need ongoing support
  • You want expert guidance at a more accessible investment than 1:1 coaching
  • You do well in structured programmes but have struggled to maintain changes alone

This might not be right for you if:

  • You prefer to keep your health journey completely private
  • You need intensive, personalised support for complex health challenges
  • You’re not ready to commit to showing up for others as well as yourself
  • You want someone else to do the work for you rather than learning to do it yourself
  • You’re dealing with active eating disorders or mental health crises (I can refer you to appropriate specialists)

It’s based on the SHINE method. Every element is designed around sustainable, supported, individualised, nurturing, and empowering principles.

It’s designed for busy professionals. The timing, format, and expectations all acknowledge that you have a real life with real constraints.

It addresses the whole person. We don’t just talk about food and exercise—we explore how stress, sleep, relationships, and mindset all impact your health.

It’s evidence-based but practical. I’ll share the science behind why certain approaches work, but always in service of helping you apply it in your daily life.

It’s genuinely supportive. This isn’t about competition or comparison—it’s about mutual encouragement and shared problem-solving.

During the programme, you’ll:

  • Develop sustainable daily habits that don’t rely on perfect conditions or endless motivation
  • Learn to navigate setbacks without abandoning your goals completely
  • Build confidence in making health decisions that are right for you
  • Create genuine connections with like-minded people facing similar challenges
  • Understand the science behind behaviour change and how to apply it in your life

By the end of 6 weeks, you’ll:

  • Have a clear framework for maintaining healthy habits long-term
  • Know how to troubleshoot common challenges without external help
  • Feel part of a supportive community (many groups stay connected long after the programme ends)
  • Trust your own judgment about what your body needs
  • Have experienced that sustainable change is possible, even with a busy life

Six months later, you’ll:

  • Still be implementing the strategies we covered (because they’re designed to stick)
  • Have the tools to adjust your approach as your life circumstances change
  • Feel confident that you can maintain your health without needing another programme, plan, or coach

Frequently Asked Questions

Every session is recorded, and the community platform allows for ongoing discussion between calls. While live participation is ideal, you won’t miss out if life occasionally gets in the way.

Groups typically include people at different stages of their health journey. Often, the most advanced members find that helping others reinforces their own learning.

We’ll cover principles and frameworks, then support you in creating personalised approaches. The goal is to teach you to fish, not just give you a fish.

You’ll have the tools and community connections to continue independently. Some groups choose to meet informally after the programme ends.

Absolutely. Many strategies we cover are specifically designed for brains that work differently, and the group setting often provides the external structure that helps with focus and follow-through.

Ready to Stop Going It Alone?

Health change doesn’t have to be a solo journey. In fact, it’s often much more successful when it isn’t.

Join a community of like-minded professionals who understand your challenges and genuinely want to see you succeed.

What Past Participants Say

“I loved having other people who understood exactly what I was going through. When Lisa talked about her afternoon chocolate cravings, I felt so much less alone. And when I shared my win about cooking dinner three nights in a row, their excitement made it feel like a real achievement.”

Marketing Manager

“Becky created such a safe space for us to be honest about our struggles. I learned as much from the other participants as I did from the content itself.”

Finance Director

“Six months later, I’m still using the strategies we learned and still in touch with two of the women from my group. It was exactly what I needed.”

Anna Tuck

Community Enterprise Catalyst at Community Catalysts

I’m Anna, I’m 51 and I work at home for a Community Interest Company in the Care and Support Sector. I joined the programme as a result of a recommendation from a friend. I’ve always had a difficult relationship with food and my weight and since hitting peri-menopause I have struggled to make new habits that work for me. I’m particularly interested in understanding my body and my gut health and finding sustainable healthy solutions. Working with Becky has been so beneficial, with a bit of trial and error in food choices. Her recommendations have been so useful and she has gently challenged me to move forward and I have made some really good progress.
