Working with Becky literally changed my life. I had been suffering with chronic pain caused by two trapped nerves for good on two years and it was severely limiting my ability to engage in all the outdoor activities I enjoy, with a knock on effect on my social life and mental well being. Stuck in a rut, I was unable to consistently do my physio exercises or make the necessary changes to my diet.
Procrastination and overwhelm were so ingrained that I had lost hope of ever experiencing any change in my condition – and was dubious that a coach could help me.
But working with Becky was transformational. She enabled me to examine my habits and look beneath my behaviours to identify what was keeping me stuck and find strategies to make changes in my daily routine.
She is a natural at this work. The sessions were enjoyable and I found myself amazed at how easy she made it to identify what would work for me. I was shocked by how straightforward it was to put in place some new and healthy daily habits once I understood what motivated me and how to make it work for me.
As a result of her coaching, her explanation of the theory and insightful, empathic approach, I have been doing my physio exercises every day and have started eating a much healthier diet, and now manage to avoid those foods which were causing inflammation of my nerves.
I can hardly believe myself what an enormous difference it has made. At one stage, my goal was to walk for ten minutes without pain. Last month I went on an 11km hike in the countryside with friends. My life and outlook has entirely changed.
I would unreservedly recommend Becky to anyone who wants to make a change and can’t seem to make it happen. Her kind and humorous approach, underpinned by deep professional knowledge, extensive personal experience and obvious passion helped me to heal long term pain – which I didnt think was possible.
